Abnormal loss of wire electrode of wire cutting machine and countermeasures

The "tool" of a wire cutting machine is a wire, the material is molybdenum, commonly known as molybdenum wire. The melting point of molybdenum is very high (2622 ° C), second only to tungsten (3410 ° C), but the elongation of molybdenum is 8 times that of tungsten. Therefore, molybdenum wire is one of the ideal electrode wires for wire cutting machine tools. Molybdenum is a colored rare metal, which is expensive, such as φO.14mm molybdenum wire, and the market price is 0.15 yuan/m. The use of molybdenum wire varies from person to person and its loss varies greatly. After cutting a section of several hundred thousand mm~2, the molybdenum wire is still safe. Some people also change the wire frequently in the cutting of several tens of mm~2 sections. I have explored effective ways to reduce the loss of molybdenum wire from many years of practice.
