How to understand the wear resistance of the floor

The wear resistance directly affects the service life of the product. On the surface of the laminate flooring, there is a layer of transparent wear-resistant paper, the composition is Al2O3, which makes the surface of the laminate flooring more wear resistant than ordinary paint wood flooring by 10 to 30 times.
The number of wear resistance is the representation of the wear resistance, which is generally 6000 to 15,000 rpm. The higher the wear resistance, the better the wear resistance of the product. The nominal value of the wear-resistant rotation of laminate flooring is classified into IP, AT and FP. IP is the initial wear value, which refers to the number of revolutions when wear points begin to appear on the surface of the floor after wearing an international standard wear-resistant paper. FP is the final wear value, which refers to the number of revolutions when the wear layer on the floor surface is fully worn. AT is the average wear resistance of the two. Usually, the number of revolutions should be indicated by the average value AT or the initial value IP, rather than the final value FP, because the FP must be greater than the IP or AT value.
The wear resistance is not as high as possible. Because Al2O3 is mineral and its content is too high (especially greater than 75 g/m2), it lacks toughness, its surface is brittle, and its decorative paper clarity is reduced. At the same time, the quality of decorative paper, hardness and resistance of the tool Grinding is also more demanding and the production cost is also more expensive, so consideration should be given to the environment and the cost-effectiveness of the product when choosing. General test results in the floor above 6,000 rpm suitable for home use, more than 9000 rpm suitable for use in public places.
