The annual meeting of the graphite industry technology innovation strategic alliance was successfully held
On August 2nd, the annual meeting of the "Xingkai Lake Intelligence" forum for academicians and experts, along with the Graphite Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, took place in Jixi. The event brought together key figures from various sectors, including Liu Qiyan, Deputy Director of the Research Office of the General Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Guo Dachun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Shao Guoqiang, Deputy Mayor of Jixi City. Their presence underscored the importance of the gathering in advancing the graphite industry's development.
In his speech, Shao Guoqiang highlighted that the Graphite Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was officially established in 2011 with the goal of focusing on and integrating innovative resources within the graphite sector. This initiative aimed to enhance the industry’s independent innovation capabilities and core competitiveness. Over the past two years, the alliance has made significant progress in promoting innovation and sustainable growth in the graphite industry.
The first annual meeting of the alliance served as an opportunity to engage directly with graphite enterprises. Academicians and experts were invited to conduct field research, listen to the needs and challenges of local companies, and better understand the current trends and future directions of the industry. Shao emphasized the need for a green, scientific, and innovative path forward for the graphite sector, aiming to achieve long-term, sustainable development.
During the meeting, participants received detailed reports on the work of the alliance and the technical requirements of key graphite projects. Guo Dachun praised the contributions of the alliance and outlined clear expectations for future efforts, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and continuous improvement.
In addition, several cooperation agreements were signed between Jixi Municipal Government, Aoyu Graphite Group, and Haoshi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with Harbin University of Science and Technology and Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology. These partnerships are expected to drive technological advancements and support the industry’s growth.
Before the official meeting, the attending academicians and experts visited the graphite industrial parks in Hengshan and Mashan districts. They conducted on-site research, discussed technical challenges with local enterprises, and exchanged ideas on potential innovations and solutions. This hands-on approach ensured that the discussions during the meeting were grounded in real-world conditions and practical needs.
