The winter district heating in Xi'an has begun today. The reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce yesterday that the overall coal market in Xi’an is running steadily, and the supply of coal is relatively abundant this winter and next spring, but the market price will rise slightly. It is reported that the retail price of honeycomb coal in the city this winter is 0.55 yuan / block, up 0.03 yuan / block.

As coal prices continue to rise and supply pressures increase, coupled with the impact of various factors, coal prices have been on the rise, and supply and demand pressures have increased. According to monitoring: Yulin Yanmo coal sales price of 800 yuan / ton, Yantai coal 1150 yuan / ton; Tongchuan coal foam coal 630 yuan / ton, smoke block coal 900 yuan / ton; smoke-free foam coal 1100 yuan / ton, lump coal 1,500 yuan / ton, a variety of bituminous coal prices rose by 100 to 200 yuan per ton respectively.

Smokeless coal briquettes and lump coal are the main types of coal for residents living in winter and heating, and they are also the focus of the city's guarantee of supply. It is reported that about 130,000 households in Xi’an currently use anthracite for heating in winter, which is mainly concentrated in Chengzhong Village and suburban counties. The demand for anthracite coal is about 150,000 tons this winter.

At present, Xi'an's smokeless coal briquettes and lump coal have been put on the market one after another, and will continue to increase supply from now on. At the same time, in order to facilitate the rapid purchase of coal by some residents, the Bureau of Commerce organizes a number of private anthracite processing companies to set up points at the junction of urban and rural areas, adopting the nearest distribution and other sales forms to facilitate the use of coal for the citizens.

In addition, in view of the supply of winter coal this year, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce specifically issued the “Notice on Doing a Good Job in Coal Market Supply in the Winter, Spring, and Spring,” in conjunction with the main coal producing areas in Gansu, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia, as well as organizing sources of supply. The large coal transport capacity to transfer, fully make up the coal circulation reserve, to ensure that the amount of 350,000 tons of coal used in the reserve this winter.

For the possible illegal operation and adulteration of individual coal briquettes and lump coal production enterprises, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce will jointly investigate and deal with the relevant departments and strictly deal with them to ensure the safety and quality of coal used by residents.
