National Soil Moisture Monitoring Bulletin (December 26, 2010)

Soil moisture monitoring results on December 23, 2010 showed that soils in parts of central Shaanxi, western and southern Henan, southern Shandong, northern Anhui, etc. were lacking or persistently deficient; parts of southern Jiangsu and central Anhui, southeastern Hubei Most of Hunan, western Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, northern Guangdong, central and southeastern Yunnan, western Guizhou, southwestern Chongqing and southeastern areas are too wet or persistently wet; eastern Jiangxi, western and northern Zhejiang, northwestern Fujian Soil moisture in the central part of Guangdong, northwestern Guangxi, northwestern and northeastern Yunnan, central Guizhou, etc.; soil moisture in most of the rest of the country is more suitable.

After the survey, there is a small amount of precipitation in the eastern part of the northwestern part, the south-central part of North China, the northwestern part of Huanghuai, and the eastern part of the country. However, due to the small amount of precipitation, soil shortages in Shaanxi, Henan, and Shandong continue; Jiangnan, South China, and the southwestern part of the country Large-scale precipitation occurred, and most of the precipitation in the south of the Yangtze River was 10 to 35 mm. The soil in Hunan, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang continued to be too wet.

It is expected that in the next three days, most of the surveying areas in China will have no precipitation, and soil defects will continue in parts of central Shaanxi, western and southern Henan, southern Shandong, northern Anhui, etc.; southern Jiangsu, central Anhui, southeastern Hubei, Hunan Soil over-wetting will be alleviated in most parts, western Jiangxi, southern Zhejiang, northern Guangdong, central and southeastern Yunnan, southwestern and southeastern Chongqing, etc. There will be light rain or showers in western Guizhou, and soil over-wetting will continue.
