In particular, the use of mobile phones and ultra-micro motors in China is increasing, and the demand for precision shafts is increasing. This has led many foreign-funded enterprises to enter China to set up factories and technology input. Many precision axis enterprises have gradually emerged and formed a certain scale, mainly distributed in Zhejiang. However, the domestic precision shaft has a large gap with foreign companies in terms of precision, process, equipment and technology, and most of the products are at the low-end.

The precision requirements of precision shaft products, main production equipment and measuring equipment, production process characteristics and domestic precision technical difficulties are introduced separately.

1. Precision shaft product accuracy requirements:

The outer diameter of the precision shaft is 0.5 to φ 3 mm, and the length is generally less than 300 mm. The outer diameter tolerance of high precision is usually about 1 μm, the special requirement is 0.4 μm, the Japanese enterprise can reach 0.1 μm, and the roundness is 0.5 μm or less. The surface roughness value is Ra = 0.025 μm, and the radial runout amount is required to be 1 μm or less. Precision shafts are often non-standard custom parts, custom processing according to customer needs or drawings. Precision shafts (see Figure 1) are used in many fields, such as ultra-micro motor parts, precision electronic parts, automotive parts, office automation parts, household appliances, and power tool parts.

2. Main processing equipment and measuring equipment:

The main special-shaped precision shaft turning machining adopts CINCOM L20 multi-axis composite machining center (see Fig. 2), which consists of two main shafts, wherein the front main shaft rotates at 10 000 r/min, and the main and auxiliary shafts can realize simultaneous machining and overlap. Machining, machine precision and machining efficiency are high; the machine can be equipped with 7 turning tools, 5 milling cutters and 6 drill-type tools; the machine system is Mitsubishi CNC system, which can execute 0.00 01 mm command, ie sub-micron command. The processing of the professional feeding machine, the installation of Sumitomo CNC cutting tools, the use of Yuxi road special cutting oil, control of the ambient temperature, can process micron-level precision outer diameter.

In actual production, the temperature requirement is high, the machine heat engine time is relatively long, the equipment should be equipped with a temperature control system to ensure that the machine temperature is in a stable range, and the cutting fluid needs to be cooled.
