Fire board introduction

This method involves processing granite to create a fire board. The process starts by cutting natural granite into slabs, followed by an initial grinding of the surface. Once the surface is prepared, it is mounted on a fixed frame and then subjected to flame treatment. The flame is generated using acetylene and oxygen, applied through a spray gun. The flame moves evenly across the surface at a speed of 120 to 250 mm per second, with the nozzle positioned 20 to 40 mm above the plate at an angle. The temperature of the flame ranges between 800 to 1000°C. Before applying the flame, the slab is lightly sprayed with water to prevent overheating and potential damage.

The technique used in manufacturing granite fire boards is part of the broader granite processing industry. After the initial grinding, the surface undergoes flame treatment, which removes a thin layer of material—approximately 0.5 to 1 mm. This process reveals the natural color and texture of the stone, giving it a rustic, raw, and authentic appearance. These granite fire boards are widely used for sidewalks, road surfaces, indoor flooring, and wall cladding.

By burning liquefied gas and oxygen, a high-temperature flame is created, causing uneven thermal expansion on the surface. This results in a texture similar to that of a lychee fruit, offering excellent slip resistance. The final product not only looks unique but also enhances safety in various applications.

This innovative approach combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to produce durable and aesthetically pleasing stone products. Whether used indoors or outdoors, granite fire boards provide both visual appeal and functional benefits, making them a popular choice in construction and design.
