Fire board introduction

A unique processing method for granite fire board begins with cutting natural granite into slabs. The surface of each slab undergoes initial grinding to prepare it for the next step. After this, the slabs are mounted on a fixed frame and then subjected to flame treatment. This process involves using a spray gun that combines acetylene and oxygen to create a high-temperature flame. The flame is evenly moved across the surface of the granite plate at a speed ranging from 120 to 250 mm per second. The distance between the nozzle and the surface is maintained between 20 to 40 mm, with the nozzle slightly angled to ensure even coverage. The temperature of the flame reaches 800 to 1000 degrees Celsius, which helps in modifying the surface texture effectively.

Before applying the flame, the granite plate is first lightly sprayed with water. This step helps prevent the stone from cracking or burning during the high-heat process by absorbing some of the heat. The flame treatment removes a thin layer of the surface—approximately 0.5 to 1 mm—revealing the true color and natural grain of the granite. This results in a rustic, textured finish that exudes a simple and natural aesthetic. Granite fire boards processed in this way are ideal for use in various applications such as sidewalks, roadways, indoor flooring, and wall cladding.

The flame treatment not only enhances the visual appeal but also creates a non-slip surface, similar to the texture of a litchi fruit. This is achieved through the uneven expansion of the stone caused by the intense heat, making it both functional and visually striking. The final product is durable, aesthetically pleasing, and suitable for both commercial and residential settings. Whether used outdoors or indoors, granite fire boards offer a timeless and elegant solution for modern design needs.
