National weather changes and agricultural considerations in the near future

The temperature in most parts of the country is high. The sunshine in most parts of the Yangtze River is abundant, and the sunshine hours in the Sichuan Basin, the southwestern part of the Yangtze River, and most of southern China are less than 40 hours. Precipitation in the northeastern region is obviously high, and heavy rain and strong convective weather occur in parts of the south of the Yangtze River and southern China.

Most of the northeastern region has a low temperature, the soil is too wet, and the spring sowing period is delayed. The light, temperature and water conditions in the northwest, north China, Jianghuai and Jianghan areas are good, which is conducive to the formation of summer grain and oil crops such as winter wheat and rapeseed and the seedling growth of spring, sowing crops such as rice, corn and cotton. Heavy rains occurred in most of the south of the Yangtze River and in the central and eastern parts of South China. Some farmland showed waterlogging, which was not conducive to the drying of rapeseed and the growth of cotton and rice. Precipitation in the north-central Yunnan and southern Sichuan dry areas is still relatively low, and the drought continues. It cannot meet the water for transplanting rice and flue-cured tobacco.

Prospects and recommendations for agrometeorological conditions

It is estimated that in the next 10 days, the temperature in most parts of the country will be basically the same as that in normal years; the Jianghuai, Jiangnan, South China, eastern Sichuan Basin and eastern Guizhou have more rains, and the main rainfall periods will appear on the 12th to 14th , 16th and 17th and Around the 21st , the rainfall in most of the above areas was close to the same period of the year; there were multiple rainfalls in northern Xinjiang, eastern Inner Mongolia, northeast China and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Around the 18th , local areas such as North China and the southeastern part of the Northeast may have strong convective weather such as thunderstorms and strong winds.

Most of the temperature in the northeastern region is higher than normal, which is conducive to seeding and cropping. The temperature in the southern part of North China and Huanghuai winter wheat area is close to normal or slightly lower. The weather is fine in most of the time, which is conducive to the growth of winter wheat heading and spring seedling seedlings. The number of rainy days in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River is high, which is unfavorable for the harvesting of rapeseed and the early rice tillering. Rainfall in meteorological arid areas such as central and northern Yunnan and southern Sichuan is less, and water for transplanting rice and flue-cured tobacco in one season is still insufficient. Suggestions for this:

     1. The areas not yet planted in the northeast should catch the fine weather after the rain, timely drain and dehumidify the land, and strive for timely sowing of dryland crops such as corn. Some low-lying dry fields should be planted late in time to replant early-maturing or very early-maturing corn and soybeans. Short crop varieties to reduce the adverse effects of low temperatures.

2 , North winter wheat has gradually entered the key stage of production formation, should be timely watering and fertilizing according to the weather and growth conditions, while paying attention to the wind does not water, to prevent lodging, but also to strengthen pest control.

     3. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and its south areas should seize the fine weather and harvest the rapeseed in time; the soil over-wet areas should clear the ditch and ensure the dry growth of cotton and other dryland crops. At the same time, Jiangnan and South China should do a good job in water and fertilizer management in early rice fields, and timely apply fertilizer to promote their growth. In addition, local heavy rains in the south are more frequent. All localities should further dredge the ditch and improve flood control and drainage capacity to reduce the damage caused by heavy rain and flooding to agricultural production.

     4. The southwestern arid area should seize the recent precipitation process and timely store water to ensure the transplanting of rice and flue-cured tobacco, and reduce the adverse effects of drought on crops.
