**1. Regular Inspection and Cleaning**
Cast copper items sold in stores may be stored in warehouses or displayed on containers. Due to environmental factors such as humidity, ventilation, or other unpredictable conditions, the protective layer can begin to degrade after 15–30 days. To prevent this, it is recommended to open the packaging every 15 days and use the provided metal polish wipes for cleaning.
- Gently wipe the surface of the copper product with a soft, clean cloth. Then apply the metal care wipe directly onto the surface and buff it gently.
- Start by wiping the more prominent, raised areas first, then move to the lower, recessed parts. Be careful not to overdo the pressure, so as not to damage the natural finish.
- If the product has a brushed texture, always follow the grain direction when wiping. Avoid damaging the pattern, which could affect the overall appearance.
- For oxidized copper green (common in hard-to-reach areas), adjust the amount of metal care agent based on the level of oxidation. Wipe until the green residue disappears, restoring the original color. If there are white, crystalline deposits from sand holes, gently remove them with a wooden tool or soft material, then wipe with the metal care agent.

- If the product comes into contact with water or other corrosive liquids, dry it immediately with a dry cloth, then apply a little metal care agent.
