The following basic countermeasures are generally taken in the event of a compressed or liquefied gas accident.

1. Avoid gas accidents Blindly suppress firefighting. Even if the fire in the leak is accidentally extinguished during the process of saving the food and the cooling process, in the absence of measures to stop leaks, the fire must be immediately ignited with a long booster. Make it return to stable combustion. Otherwise, a large amount of combustible gas leaks out and mixes with air, and it will explode in the event of a fire, and the consequences will be unthinkable.

2. First of all, extinguish the flammable fire ignited by the surrounding fire, cut off the spread of fire, control the scope of combustion, and actively rescue the injured and trapped persons.

3. If there is a pressure vessel in the pressure vessel that is threatened by flame radiation, the evacuation can be evacuated to the safe area under the cover of the water gun. A sufficient water gun should not be deployed to protect it. In order to prevent the container from bursting, the personnel performing the cooling should try their best to shoot in a low position or use a solid shelter on the site to protect. For horizontal storage tanks, cooling personnel should choose the four sides of the tank as shooting positions.

4. If the gas pipeline leaks and catches fire, try to find the gas source valve. After the valve is closed, the fire will automatically extinguish as long as the gas is in and out of the valve.

5. If the leakage of the storage tank or pipeline is invalid, the gas pressure and the size and shape of the leakage outlet should be judged according to the fire, and the corresponding plugging materials (such as cork stoppers, rubber stoppers, airbag stoppers, adhesives, bends) should be prepared. Tools, etc.)

6. After the plugging work is ready, water can be used to fight the fire, dry powder, carbon dioxide, and halogenated alkanes can also be used to extinguish the fire. However, it is still necessary to use water to cool the burned can or wall. After the fire is extinguished, plugging with plugging material should be immediately used, and the gas diluted and dispersed with mist water should be used.

7. Under normal circumstances, the completion of the plugging will also complete the fire extinguishing work, but sometimes a plugging failure is not necessarily successful. If a plugging failure fails, it will take a certain time for the plugging to stop again. The long ignition rod should be used immediately to ignite the leak. It resumes stable combustion to prevent the explosive mixture of large amounts of combustible gas leaking out of air for a long period of time to mix with air to form an explosive mixture, thereby potentially causing the risk of explosion and preparing to re-engage and stop leaking.

8. If it is confirmed that the leak is very large, it cannot be plugged at all. Only cool the fire container, its surrounding containers and combustible materials, and control the fire range until the gas burns out and the fire will automatically extinguish.

9. The on-site commander should pay close attention to all kinds of danger signs. When the fire is extinguished for a long time, the container that cannot stably burn or irradiate can be recovered. When the flame of the safety valve is bright, screaming, shaking, or burst, the commander must Make accurate judgments in due time and promptly issue retreat orders. Site personnel should quickly retreat to a safe area after seeing or hearing a predetermined retreat signal.

10. When a fire is leaking from a gas tank or pipe valve, under special circumstances, as long as the valve is judged to be effective, it may be in violation of the convention. Once it is found that the closure is ineffective and that it cannot be stopped for a moment, it should be quickly ignited to restore stable combustion.
