Harvester safety work precautions

First, Before the Operation

1. Carefully read the user manual to fully understand the location, structure, and function of all components. This will help you operate the machine more effectively and safely.

2. Before starting work, inspect all parts for tightness and proper connections. Ensure that all moving parts are functioning correctly, check the tire condition and air pressure, and confirm that water, oil, and power supplies are sufficient. Also, look for any signs of leaks (water, oil, or fluid) to prevent potential issues during operation.

3. Make sure fire extinguishers and basic tools are available on site for emergency situations.

4. Conduct a thorough inspection of the work area and the roads to ensure they are safe and suitable for the operation of the harvester.

Second, During the Operation

1. Operators must complete an agricultural machinery driving training program and obtain a valid operating license before using the combine harvester.

2. Always give a signal before starting the machine to alert others nearby. After starting, begin at a low speed and gradually increase the speed as needed.

3. When moving in and out of the field, drive straight up and down without tilting. Tilting can damage the tracks or cause the machine to lose balance, leading to a rollover accident.

4. Never touch any moving parts while the machine is running. All maintenance or repairs should be done only after the engine is turned off and the machine is completely stopped.

5. Do not operate the harvester under the harvesting platform unless it is properly supported.

6. Avoid using open flames when working, maintaining, refueling, or repairing the machine at night. This reduces the risk of fire hazards.

7. When harvesting crops that have fallen over, adjust the header height carefully to avoid digging into the soil. This prevents blockages in the header and the second lifting auger.

8. Assign a dedicated person to manage the work area and keep unauthorized individuals, especially children and the elderly, away from the harvester.

9. When unloading grain, no one or equipment should enter the storage area. Operators should never put their hands near the grain outlet and should avoid unloading while turning.

10. When transporting the machine on public roads, make sure the grain tank is empty, raise and lock the header, and follow all traffic regulations. Avoid high-speed driving and unnecessary road occupation.

Third, Other Important Notes

1. Never operate the machine barefoot or in slippers. Wear long-sleeved clothing with closed collars and tight cuffs. Ensure your shirt is securely fastened. Avoid fatigue, driving without a license, or operating the machine under the influence of alcohol.

2. Fuel slowly, accelerate gently, and steer at low speeds to maintain control of the machine.

3. Regularly change the engine oil and hydraulic oil to ensure smooth performance and extend the life of the machine.

4. When stopping the operation, shift the gear to neutral and turn off the engine to prevent accidental movement.
