According to the contract, Yongdeng Aluminum used Zhengzhou Institute of Technology's "new type of steady flow and heat preservation aluminum electrolyzer energy-saving technology" to overhaul 40 sets of electrolyzers in its 240kA series troughs. It plans to complete 35 overhauls and start roasting at the end of May.

Due to lack of load, 25 of the electrolyzers were overhauled and fired at the end of May according to the original plan. The remaining 10 units completed the overhaul by the end of May and completed the start on June 11.
